Job summary

Northwestern University in Chicago is seeking a Research Study Manager to lead daily operations of multidisciplinary biomedical and social-behavioral studies. You will monitor performance, supervise staff, and ensure quality control and timely completion of study activities in accordance with GCP and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating with PI and nursing staff, managing data, preparing reports, and supporting grant submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a major such as social or health science or related.
• IRB CITI training completed before interacting with participants (must recertify every 3 years).
• Minimum 2 years of clinical research experience, preferably on a federally funded grant.

Responsibilities

• Leads execution and control of biomedical or social science projects or research studies.
• Manages and ensures completion of study activities per protocol; collaborates with nursing staff and PI on eligibility and consent.
• Manages conduct of experimental tests and procedures; monitors adverse events and adjusts dosages or schedules as needed.
• Manages project data including processing, accuracy, analysis and evaluation; prepares progress and final reports.
• Provides consultation on data management and analysis to project staff.
