Job summary

Northwestern University is seeking an experienced leader to manage clinical trials operations for the Cancer Center CTO. You will oversee multiple operations managers, allocate resources, supervise staff, and ensure high standards of GCP, IRB, and regulatory compliance across complex, multi-site studies.

The role requires strong leadership, budget oversight, and collaboration with finance, IT, and hospital units to optimize study workflows.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with regulatory requirements in clinical research preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for clinical trial management across disease teams.
• Oversee staff allocation, budgeting, and resource planning in the CTO.
• Coordinate regulatory filings and ensure compliance with GCP and IRB guidelines.
• Lead and train staff; mentor junior coordinators and regulatory personnel.
• Support budget development and management of contracts with sponsors and CROs.
