Job summary

Valleywise Health in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator II to drive prospective specimen collection studies from concept to execution. You will analyze data, ensure protocol compliance, and mentor a growing team within our academic research program.

You will lead fellow coordinators, foster best practices, and contribute to the hospital's pursuit of clinical excellence in a teaching environment. A strong background in research and collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of clinical research experience.
• SoCRA or ACRP/APCR certification to be obtained within 12 months.
• Human Subjects Protection Training required within 14 days of hire.
• Current Arizona Driver’s License.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficient in medical terminology.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct, organize, and launch prospective specimen collection activities.
• Mentor and develop coordinators; promote collaboration.
• Analyze clinical data and ensure protocol alignment with objectives.
• Lead a team of physicians, nurses, and researchers to drive clinical excellence in a hospital setting.
• Rotate on-call duties and travel as needed.
