Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education.
• 3 years relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or budgeting.
• Experience collecting, analyzing and presenting financial data for reports and planning.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and financial reporting processes.
• Ability to develop, review and improve budgeting and financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Collects, analyzes and maintains cost data to produce quarterly and annual financial reports used by management.
• Assists in development, preparation, review and evaluation of annual strategic planning project and budgeting process.
• Develops and prepares presentation of complex financial results to administration related to clinical study revenue.
• Designs/implements database applications for billing and invoicing using WashU systems related applications.
• Prepares and reviews monthly sponsor billing for clinical research and tracks revenue and outstanding invoices.
• Acts as backup for reimbursement of expenses and various office documents.
• Collaborates with Billing to generate reports and review balances for clinical research funds.
