Job summary

Insight Health Systems Clinical Research is seeking a Research Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative and operational support to the clinical research leadership in Michigan. The role emphasizes on-site responsibilities and collaboration across study teams to ensure smooth workflows.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of trials experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CTMS systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of administrative experience in clinical Trials (required)
• Strong understanding of Clinical Trials operations, regulatory processes, and sponsor interactions
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

Responsibilities

• Manage complex calendars, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements for research leadership
• Prepare agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items for internal and external research meetings
• Draft, edit, and format correspondence, presentations, and reports related to clinical research operations
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Assist with research pipeline and study startup tasks such as feasibility coordination, document collection, and meeting scheduling
• Support tracking of regulatory submissions, training logs, delegation logs, and study milestones
• Coordinate sponsor and CRO visits, including SIVs, IMVs, and closeout meetings
• Maintain organized filing systems for research documents, contracts, and communications
• Track deadlines, deliverables, and cross-functional tasks across multiple studies
• Support recruitment initiatives, community events, and research outreach activities
• Assist with invoice tracking, budget documentation, and vendor coordination
