Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking an experienced clinical research professional to coordinate daily activities for sponsor-initiated trials in the Department of Psychiatry. You will recruit and enroll patients, obtain informed consent, and ensure regulatory compliance while coordinating visits and testing per protocol.

Responsibilities include collecting data, monitoring patient safety, and supporting IRB/FDA regulatory processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Health Sciences or other medical field; 1 year of relevant experience required; 2-4 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform daily clinical research activities in accordance with active clinical trials protocols.
• Recruit, interview and enroll patients; obtain informed consent and ensure consent process complies with regulatory and sponsor requirements.
• Schedule and conduct study visits, procedures and other testing in accordance with the protocol.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions to study treatment, procedure or medication and notify appropriate personnel.
• Assist with regulatory documents and coordinate for IRB/FDA compliance and external quality assurance activities.
