Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator in Psychiatry to implement and coordinate daily clinical research activities under approved protocols. You will recruit and enroll participants, obtain informed consent, and ensure regulatory compliance across IRB and sponsor requirements.

You will also assist with data collection, analysis, and manuscript development, contribute to protocol development, and participate in professional meetings and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Health Sciences or medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience required.
• 0 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements, coordinates and performs daily clinical research activities per approved protocols.
• Assists with identifying eligible patients, recruits, interviews and enrolls participants; obtains informed consent and ensures compliant consent process.
• Prepares and submits regulatory documents; ensures compliance with IRB, FDA and sponsor regulations.
• Assists with data collection, extraction, coding and analysis; maintains study database and generates reports.
• Participates in developing new research protocols and study process improvements.
• Attends departmental meetings and professional conferences; supports special projects.
• Collects and organizes data for the study.
