Job summary

The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Psychiatry department to implement and coordinate daily clinical research activities. You will recruit, interview and enroll participants, obtain informed consent, and ensure consent processes meet regulatory and sponsor requirements.

You will also collect and document medical histories, manage data and biological samples, prepare regulatory documents, and assist with manuscripts and publications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences or related field required.
• 0 years of relevant experience required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements, coordinates and performs daily clinical research activities per approved protocols.
• Recruits, interviews and enrolls patients; obtains informed consent and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Collects, processes and evaluates samples; coordinates care and prepares case report forms.
• Assists with data collection, extraction, coding and analysis; generates study reports and manuscripts.
• Prepares regulatory documents and ensures IRB and sponsor compliance; participates in QA reviews.
• Attends meetings and contributes to development of new research protocols; coordinates external reviews.
