NC State University in Raleigh seeks an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to support scheduling, recruitment, screening, and testing of participants in biomedical studies within the Lampe Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering. You will coordinate activities with clinicians, researchers, and facilities, ensuring adherence to protocols and ethics, while maintaining accurate research records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Background supporting human subjects or clinical research activities.
• Familiarity with participant recruitment, screening, or research data collection.
• Proficiency using electronic databases to maintain research data, participant records, or study information.
• Ability to convey information clearly and professionally through written and verbal communication and establish and maintain productive working relationships with individuals and teams.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate schedules for research participants, clinicians, researchers, and facilities; arrange research activities through email and phone communication.
• Recruit potential participants through local clinics, hospitals, and on- and off-campus outreach activities.
• Conduct initial participant screening and explain established research procedures.
• Support research procedures and participant testing in accordance with established protocols, ethical requirements, and department policies.
