Job summary

NC State College of Engineering in Raleigh, NC seeks an Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator to support participant recruitment, screening, and data management within the Lampe Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering UNC/NCSU.

You will coordinate research activities, schedule participants, assist in procedures, and maintain compliant records under senior supervision. A bachelor’s degree and experience with human subjects research are preferred; join a collaborative, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience.
• Experience supporting human subjects or clinical research.
• Familiarity with participant recruitment, screening, or data collection.
• Proficient with electronic databases to maintain research data and records.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate schedules for participants, clinicians, researchers, and facilities.
• Recruit potential participants through local clinics, hospitals, and outreach.
• Conduct initial participant screening and explain established procedures.
• Support testing and procedures in line with protocols and ethics.
• Maintain accurate research data and records.
