Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to coordinate daily research activities in the Center for Clinical Research Management within the Department of Radiology. You will screen records for eligibility, recruit and enroll participants, obtain informed consent, and educate patients about study goals and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological, health, social sciences or related medical field required.
• One year experience in a clinical research capacity required.
• Imaging methodologies experience preferred; knowledge of medical terminology desired.
• Background check and pre-employment physical/drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform daily clinical research activities per approved protocols.
• Assist with identifying eligible patients, recruiting, interviewing and enrolling participants.
• Obtain informed consent and ensure consent process complies with regulatory and sponsor requirements.
• Educate patients and families about purpose, goals and processes of the study.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and notify appropriate clinical staff as needed.
