Job summary

Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC seeks a Study Coordinator to support NIH-funded clinical trials examining how substance use impacts HIV risk. You will recruit subjects, coordinate visits, and manage data collection across interviews, neuropsych testing, blood draws, MRI scans, and medical records.

You will work with investigators to ensure regulatory compliance, quality data, and timely reporting while mentoring staff in a fast-paced academic health environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with two years in clinical research or equivalent experience.
• SOCRA or ACRP certification preferred; CITI certification required if not completed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit participants and schedule visits.
• Coordinate data collection including interviews, testing, lab draws, MRI, and chart abstraction.
• Ensure data quality and regulatory compliance; handle adverse events reporting.
• Mentor junior staff and support investigators in protocol implementation.
• Maintain source documents and respond to sponsor data requests.
