Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assists principal investigator and other health professionals in troubleshooting problems related to the management of the clinical study and in all aspects of data collection.
• Performs technical procedures on clinical subjects under supervision.
• Assists with recruitment of patients for the clinical study including tracking sources of referrals.
• Maintains patient records and monitors continued eligibility in the study.
• Obtains and interprets pertinent data from medical records to understand past and present condition.
• Performs day-to-day administrative duties such as designing brochures and data forms; creates reports and graphs of study results.
• May supervise other personnel including volunteers.
• Assists in development of data collection forms for computerization.
• Consults and cooperates with faculty, coordination centers, sponsors, and health professionals involved in the study.
