Job summary

Nicklaus Children’s Health System is seeking a Contracts Specialist to facilitate preparation and execution of agreements with pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and academic partners. You will ensure contracts are clear, fair and legally binding, coordinating with HRPP/OSP to support the contracting process.

Key duties include drafting and reviewing contracts, negotiating terms, tracking approvals, and maintaining accurate records in CTMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business or related field.
• 2–4 years of contract negotiation experience.
• JD or Master’s degree preferred; clinical trials contract negotiation experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Create, draft, and review contractual agreements and grant documents.
• Review contracts for AAHRPP language and regulatory compliance.
• Manage timelines and obtain contract approvals from all parties.
• Negotiate terms with clients and suppliers and coordinate with General Counsel as needed.
• Maintain contract tracking and communications in CTMS and related systems.
