Job summary

The Buck Institute in Marin County, CA seeks a Clinical Research Associate/Coordinator I to support day-to-day logistics for clinical studies, conduct study visits at Buck and community sites, and assist with biospecimen processing.

Under supervision of senior staff, you will maintain participant tracking, prepare source documents, and build rapport to support engagement and data integrity. This is an early-career role with growth potential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent in biological, health, behavioral, or related field.
• Experience in a clinical setting (research, elder care, health care).
• Interest in clinical trial conduct and healthy aging.

Responsibilities

• Maintain participant tracking, scheduling records, and coordinate visits.
• Prepare source documents, logs, questionnaires per protocol.
• Conduct protocol procedures under supervision and explain activities to participants.
• Build rapport to support engagement and retention.
• Ensure protocol compliance and document deviations/adverse events.
• Extract and digitize data from case report forms; preserve data integrity.
• Process, label, store, and ship biospecimens per procedures.
• Support regulatory documentation and study files.
