The Stubbs Lab at The Buck Institute is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, articulate, and motivated Clinical Research Associate/Coordinator II to join our clinical research team. This position supports the day-to-day logistics and communications required to successfully conduct clinical studies, performs elements of study visits at the Buck and community locations, and assists with processing biospecimens and study data.
Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience in clinical research or a similar role and be comfortable managing assigned study activities with limited supervision.
The successful candidate will join a team led by Co-Directors Dr. Newman, MD, PhD, a practicing geriatrician, and Dr. Brianna Stubbs, PhD, who has more than 10 years of clinical research experience. The broader team includes experienced Clinical Project Managers, Clinical Scientists, Study Nurses with more than 30 years of clinical practice experience, and other clinical research staff.
Our clinical team is small and highly collaborative. Candidates should expect hands‑on experience across the full lifecycle of clinical study execution. We work together to ensure study activities are completed accurately and on time.
The CRA II is expected to work with greater independence than the CRA I, manage assigned study activities with limited supervision, troubleshoot routine problems, proactively identify process improvements, provide guidance and training to junior research staff, and appropriately elevate issues when needed.
