Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Clinical Rehab Liaison to build referral relationships across a defined territory and support patient assessments. This role emphasizes community engagement, collaboration with physicians, discharge planners and nurses, and driving growth through patient referrals.

The ideal candidate will hold an active clinical license, CPR certification, and several years of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Current state professional clinical licensure and CPR certification.
• Two or more years of clinical or healthcare tech experience.
• One or more years in nurse liaison or successful healthcare sales.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends, and competitive analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop census based on strategic goals.
• Cultivate strong relationships within an assigned territory, prioritizing face-to-face connections.
• Aid in streamlining the referral-to-admission process.
• Educate community, referral sources and physicians on our hospital programs and services.
• Utilize market analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Responds to and overcomes admission barriers and follows-up on admissions variables.
• Conduct in-services and professional presentations to various groups about our services and outcomes.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
