Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Clinical Rehab Liaison to cultivate referral relationships, manage a geographic territory, and complete patient assessments in our community-focused network.

You'll build partnerships with physicians, nurses, discharge planners and payer representatives while promoting hospital programs and services. A current clinical license and CPR certification are required, with prior healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state professional clinical licensure is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Two or more years of clinical or healthcare tech experience preferred.
• One or more years in nurse liaison or healthcare sales preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop referral relationships within an assigned territory.
• Cultivate strong relationships with physicians, ICU/floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers and payer representatives.
• Aid in streamlining the referral-to-admission process.
• Educate community, referral sources and physicians on hospital programs and services.
• Utilize market analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Respond to admission barriers and follow up on admissions variables.
• Conduct in-services and professional presentations about services and outcomes.
