Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Clinical Rehab Liaison to cultivate referral relationships and manage an assigned territory, driving patient referrals and coordinating assessments. You will engage with physicians, nurses, discharge planners, and payer representatives to support growth and community care.

The role blends clinical licensure with community outreach, offering growth within a nationally recognized inpatient rehabilitation leader and a mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Current state's professional clinical licensure and CPR certification required.
• Two or more years of clinical or healthcare tech experience preferred.
• One or more years in nurse liaison or healthcare sales preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations, legal frameworks, market trends, and competitive analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop census based on strategic goals.
• Cultivate strong relationships within an assigned territory, prioritizing face-to-face connections.
• Aid in streamlining the referral-to-admission process.
• Educate community, referral sources and physicians on hospital programs and services.
• Utilize market analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Responds to and overcomes admission barriers and follows-up on admissions variables.
• Conduct in-services and professional presentations to various groups about services and outcomes.
