Ideal candidate holds RN licensure in Nebraska or compact state, a Bachelor's degree, and at least five years of progressive nursing experience.

Qualifications

  • Maintains clinical knowledge for populations and projects served.
  • Knowledge of data abstraction and research principles.
  • Knowledge of quality outcomes and compliance including evidence-based practices.
  • Knowledge of CMS, Joint Commission and regulatory standards.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software relevant to work functions.
  • Ability to organize and manage time/resources effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work with diverse patient populations.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Commits to mission and core values.
  • Uses quality improvement data to identify improvements and coordinates plans.
  • Acts as a resource for QA processes and staff education.
  • Serves as transformational agent for quality improvements across the org.
  • Leads QA teams using evidence-based practices to identify opportunities.
  • Develops policies, procedures, and education materials to support QA and compliance.
  • Interprets data definitions and ensures accurate data collection.
  • Performs chart reviews and audits for improvement and compliance.
  • Analyzes data findings and benchmarks against trends and literature.
  • Prepares budget recommendations for projects.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
