Qualifications

  • Requires RN licensure in Nebraska or compact state per Nebraska Nurse Practice Act.
  • Bachelor's degree required; minimum of five years progressive clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Use quality improvement data to identify areas for improvement and coordinate plans.
  • Serve as a resource to leaders, preceptors, educators, and staff for quality improvement and education.
  • Act as a transformational agent to embed quality improvement across the organization.
  • Lead and participate in Quality Improvement Teams using best-practice evidence.
  • Develop policies, procedures, order sets, and patient education materials to support quality projects and compliance.
  • Interpret data definitions and ensure accurate data collection across activities.
  • Conduct chart reviews and audits to support performance improvement and compliance.
  • Analyze data trends, benchmark against peers, and review literature findings.
  • Prepare budget recommendations for projects.
  • Perform related projects and duties as assigned.
