Job summary

St. Joseph Villas Homecare and Hospice in Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking a Patient Clinical Manager to oversee nursing and clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality assurance across care teams.

You will audit patient records, coordinate staff education, and collaborate with the clinical team to address performance improvement and QAPI needs, while maintaining compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Experience in Hospice required.
• Attention to detail resulting in accurate outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with a professional attitude, demeanor and appearance.
• May be required to provide direct patient care assuming staff nurse responsibilities when necessary to support safe, high-quality patient care and agency operation.
• Proficient computer skills, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff compliance with regulatory expectations.
• Audit patient records for ongoing monitoring of documentation compliance.
• Perform accurate and timely clinical reviews to meet deadlines.
• Compile, review, analyze and graph audit data.
• Maintain quality data and reports.
• Work with hospice staff to follow up on audit results.
• Collaborate with clinical team to identify performance improvement/QAPI issues and staff educational needs.
• Coordinate and execute staff education as it relates to above.
