St. Joseph Villa Homecare and Hospice in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Patient Clinical Manager to oversee regulatory compliance, audit records, and drive quality improvements.

The role involves coordinating clinician education, analyzing audit data, and ensuring timely clinical reviews to support safe patient care. Responsibilities include supervising staff, following up on audit results, and collaborating with the clinical team to identify QAPI needs.

Formación

• Experience in Hospice required.
• Attention to detail yielding accurate outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• May provide direct patient care to support safe, high-quality care.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.

Job duties include:

• Manage staff compliance with regulatory expectations
• Audit patient records for ongoing monitoring of documentation compliance
• Perform accurate and timely clinical reviews to meet deadlines
• Compile, review, analyze and graph audit data
• Maintain quality data and reports
• Work with hospice staff to follow up on audit results
• Collaborate with clinical team to identify performance improvement/QAPI issues and staff educational needs
• Coordinate and execute staff education as it relates to above

Requirements

• Experience in Hospice required
• Must have attention to detail resulting in accurate outcomes
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with a professional attitude, demeanor and appearance
• May be required to provide direct patient care assuming staff nurse responsibilities when necessary to support safe, high-quality patient care and agency operation
• Proficient computer skills, including Word and Excel
