Job summary

Bryan Health is seeking a Nurse Quality Improvement professional to lead and evaluate clinical and non-clinical training programs, focusing on safe, effective, equitable patient care. You will act as a liaison with the Continuous Improvement division and collaborate with nursing and administrative leaders to implement evidence-based practices and documentation improvements.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in Nebraska or compact state.
  • Advanced nursing degree (MSN or Doctorate) in nursing.
  • Minimum of three years clinical nursing experience.
  • Specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support quality improvement projects with charters, plans, progress reports, and cycles of improvement.
  • Facilitate divisional quality committees with physician and administrative leaders.
  • Participate in meetings, case reviews, and projects; share observations and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with nursing and cross-functional leaders to evaluate patient care processes.
  • Analyze care quality measures to identify problems and trends and recommend actions.
  • Collaborate with analysts to create informative reports for stakeholders.
  • Develop reports for nursing and stakeholders with evidence-based recommendations.
  • Serve as liaison between Continuous Improvement and Patient Care Services regarding quality planning and reliability.
  • Partner with education to address the educational needs of nursing and evolving practice.
  • Collaborate with clinical educators to provide access to high-quality educational offerings.
  • Assist in developing and revising order sets and documentation tools to improve evidence-based protocols.
