Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to implement care plans developed by physical therapists, treating patients of all ages. You will serve as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students in a dynamic health system.

Responsibilities include educating patients and families, following the plan of care, documenting accurately, and completing required education for compliance programs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licensed in Illinois or eligible.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using relevant and effective teaching methods.
• Follows therapist's plan of care and adjusts treatment based on patient response after communication with the evaluating therapist.
• Documents in daily notes and adheres to Clinical Documentation Policy.
