Job summary

Carle Health seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, adjusting plan of care as needed. This role serves as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students, with a sign-on bonus offered.

The PT will educates patients and families, develop and modify care plans, and document outcomes according to policy. Opportunities to contribute to stroke care and orthopedic/neurologic rehab are emphasized within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) credential.
• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• Complete required CE for acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to perform patient transfers with assistance as needed.
• Demonstrates respect by treating patients and colleagues with dignity and empathy.
• Designs an appropriate plan of care integrating goals, treatment, outcomes, and discharge plan.
