Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Psychology with adult-focused training (Clinical, Counseling, or School).
• Doctorate or post-doctorate APA-accredited program.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Review mental health history and perform one-time, non-treatment behavioral health compensation and pensions exams for Veterans.
• Capture responses during the exam via web-based forms; complete documentation electronically.
• Submit completed exams to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability determinations.
• Common assessment topics include PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.

We are hiring a Clinical Psychologist to join our team of talented medical professionals to conduct a one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exam in Phoenix, AZ.

• Employment Status: Full-time
• Compensation: This is a hourly position, paid bi-weekly $60.45/hr.
• Schedule: FT or PT

Requirements: The Clinical Psychologist must have and meet the following:

• Must be a psychologist or psychiatrist licensed in at least one state in the United States.
• Psychiatrists or Neurologists must be board certified or must have completed a 2-year residency with either specialty
• Psychologists must obtain a PhD or PsyD with a Major in Psychology; Specialty studies must focus on the adult population such as Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology (or a combination of these). Child-focused psychology programs are not acceptable.
• Psychologists must have graduated from a doctorate or post-doctorate APA-accredited program.
• Certification: Have an active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Demonstrates compassion and professionalism and a commitment to providing excellent service and care.
  • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and using EMR and platforms.
  • Skilled in professional communication, critical thinking, and informed-care decision-making.
  • Works independently and can manage time in order to provide a quality service while meeting set deadlines.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Prior experience in clinical settings
    • Prior VA or C&P experience

Job Summary:
