Job summary

Yale University in New Haven invites applications for a Program Coordinator who provides high-level data management, research/writing, and administrative support to the Clinical Programs Fundraising team.

Reporting to the Director of Development for Clinical Departments and Healthcare Delivery, you will prepare ad hoc reports, manage referrals and donor data, support faculty meetings, and help coordinate outreach and engagement activities to ensure timely execution.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to initiate and complete tasks independently and proactively.
• Strong written communication skills w/ ability to draft, format, proofread, and edit communications.
• Proven team player w/ skills to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines from multiple managers in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency w/ Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; ability to conduct data analysis and work with financial information.
• High level of professionalism, judgement and integrity; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates program activities. Establishes, selects, implements, and coordinates administrative functions, procedures, and systems.
• Based on knowledge of and experience with program activities, objectives and staff, serves as principal source of information on policies, procedures, programs and office activities; maintains professional relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Processes and monitors expenses and ensures adherence to budgetary guidelines; may oversee grant submission materials.
• Composes substantive correspondence and written material; determines data sources; compiles, synthesizes and distributes reports.
• Provides editorial support for a journal/publication; proofreads and edits material and tracks copy through editing/production stages.
• Oversees, instructs, and coordinates activities of support staff.
• Ensures compliance with University, Federal, and State guidelines, rules, and regulations.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
