Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System in New York seeks a Clinical Program Manager to ensure regulatory compliance, orientation and competency assessments for designated nursing staff, and the educational impact on care delivery across the program.

You will lead clinical operations, develop SOPs, manage budgets, mentor staff, coordinate performance improvement activities, and prepare reports on staff performance and outcome measures for Joint Commission readiness.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing is required.
• New York State RN license with current registration is required.
• NPCertification in specialty area preferred.
• 5 years directly related experience, supervisory preferred, is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees clinical operations within the program, using data-driven problem solving to improve processes and outcomes.
• Recruits, orients, trains, coaches, counsels, mentors, and evaluates staff in accordance with policies.
• Develops and manages the departmental budget with financial oversight.
• Plans, develops, and maintains SOPs; reviews policies and suggests changes as needed.
• Coordinates educational and performance improvement activities with Nursing, Medical, and Quality Leadership.
• Establishes goals, policies, and procedures to achieve high performance in nursing care delivery.
• Leads day-to-day educational program activities aligned with program objectives and clinical expertise.
• Collects and analyzes clinical activity data to evaluate performance and competence.
