Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Clinical Program Manager to assure compliance and optimize clinical care delivery within a designated nursing program. You will interface with multiple departments, lead education initiatives, and manage performance improvement activities across nursing teams.

The role requires a Master's in Nursing, NY RN license, and 5+ years of related experience; NP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Nursing is required.
New York State license as a registered nurse is required.
NP certification is preferred.
Minimum of five years of directly related experience, supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee clinical operations within the program and improve processes using data-driven methods.
Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
Recruit, orient, train, coach, and evaluate staff following policies.
Develop and manage departmental budgets with financial oversight.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and update policies as needed.
Coordinate educational and performance improvement activities with nursing, medical, and quality leadership.
Design action plans to support clinical performance and competency.
Set short- and long-term goals, policies, and operating procedures for high nursing care performance.
Lead day-to-day educational program activities aligned with objectives.
Collect, analyze and report on clinical program activity and outcomes.
Provide consultation and educational resources for orientation and ongoing competency.
Serve as a clinical role model and resource to nursing staff.
Prepare reports on new hire orientation, competency, and staff performance outcomes.
Identify patterns/trends from results and communicate actions needed.
Collaborate with care teams to develop and review policies and standards of care.
Ensure readiness for Joint Commission surveys and related visits.
Participate in budget-conscious daily activities and allocate resources accordingly.
