Job summary

Meharry Medical College seeks a Clinical Program Manager to lead delivery of multi-site studies, acting as primary liaison between Center of Excellence for Clinical and Translational Research teams and sponsors.

You will manage cross-functional teams from start-up through close-out, ensuring quality, on-time, and within-budget deliverables while maintaining SOPs and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GCP, FDA regulations, HIPAA and trial operations.
• Strong budgeting, financial management, and contract compliance experience.
• Proven project management, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary research teams and manage multiple trials.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of clinical trials and the Beacon of HOPE initiative.
• Develop program goals and objectives; monitor progress and reports.
• Prepare annual operating budgets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Train staff in GCP and SOPs; align staffing and productivity measures.
• Review, monitor, and report on all studies; ensure timely, budget-compliant deliverables.
