Job summary

Housing Works, Inc. seeks a Program Coordinator for the Lexington Avenue Short-Term Emergency Housing program in New York.

You will provide programmatic and clinical leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, supervise case management staff, and support housing stability outcomes aligned with funder requirements. Qualifications

• Licensed LMSW or LMHC required (LCSW preferred).
• Experience with homelessness is strongly preferred.
• Clinical judgment to review and provide feedback on documentation.
• Supervision and staff development in harm reduction and trauma-informed care.
• Ability to evaluate program performance and staff effectiveness.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems.
• Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred.
• Engagement of residents with complex needs to promote stability.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of programmatic and clinical operations to ensure compliance with funder regulations, agency policies, and best practices in supportive housing.
• Supervise Housing Case Managers and program staff; ensure high-quality resident services.
• Coordinate data collection and reporting; maintain occupancy at 95% or higher.
• Lead staff supervision, training, and recruitment activities; ensure adherence to policies.
• Represent the program at interdisciplinary meetings, site visits, and audits.
