Job summary

Housing Works in New York City seeks a Program Coordinator to provide programmatic and clinical leadership for the Lirio supportive congregate housing program. The PC will supervise case management staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and support resident-centered services to promote housing stability.

The role balances clinical oversight, staff supervision, quality assurance, and operational coordination in alignment with Housing Works’ mission and funder requirements.

Qualifications

• LMSW/LMHC or equivalent degree required.
• Experience with homelessness populations preferred.
• Ability to supervise staff and ensure program compliance.
• Strong documentation, assessment, and care planning skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for programmatic and clinical operations to ensure funder compliance and best practices in supportive housing.
• Supervise direct reports and provide documented weekly supervision and professional development.
• Review resident assessments, reassessments, and service plans within the first 30 days of occupancy with timely updates.
• Review monthly rent reports and coordinate case conferences for arrears as needed.
• Represent the program at interdisciplinary meetings and support housing stability initiatives.
• Ensure timely data entry into electronic case management and reporting systems.
