Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Program Director to oversee community-based services for adults with psychiatric disabilities in Massachusetts. You will manage treatment plans, supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality improvement to ensure safe, effective care.

The role requires MA licensure eligibility, a master's degree, and experience coordinating medical, mental health, and supportive services while sustaining trauma-informed, person-centered practice.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Oversee treatment plans and service delivery for all assigned persons served.
  • Ensure complex medical conditions and daily living assistance needs are addressed.
  • Coordinate hospice, religious, spiritual, medical, mental health, and care coordination supports.
  • Create meaningful day activities addressing treatment plan goals.
  • Oversee treatment plan documentation and Medicaid Rehab Option standards adherence.
  • Develop and train staff on safety plans and crisis prevention and response plans.
  • Maintain adherence to Medication Administration Program policies and procedures.
  • Manage site systems, procedures, regulations, quality improvement initiatives, intakes, and discharges.
  • Implement clinical, recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, person-centered, culturally competent, and evidence-based interventions.
  • Provide competency-based training, mentoring, supervision, and performance feedback to staff.
  • Manage adverse events, incident reporting, corrective actions, licensing adherence, human rights procedures, and performance measures.
  • Manage program resources, client funds, food stamps, program fees, representative payee accounts, expenses, budgets, and billing information.
  • Ensure residence maintenance, repair, safety, and good-neighbor relationships.
  • Hire, orient, supervise, evaluate, and conduct corrective action procedures for residential staff.
  • Manage relief and overtime resources and implement staff retention, recognition, and development initiatives.
  • Promote healthcare, employment, and education service access for persons served.
  • Provide documentation of needs and services
  • Participate in the Intensive GLE Program Director Community of Practice Workgroup and receive licensure supervision.
  • Collaborate with ACCS team staff and provide on-call coverage as assigned.

Job description

Requirements
  • Master’s degree required
  • Must hold LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LRC, LADC 1, OTR, RN or Licensed Psychologist licensure in Massachusetts
  • Clinical experience working with people with psychiatric disability and/or co-occurring disorders with serious medical conditions preferred
  • Management experience preferred
  • Must have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport PS
  • Valid driver's license required
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Must have maintained a valid US driver's license for at least six months
  • Must pass a driver's screening background check
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, and assist PS with tasks of daily living
  • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques or a two-person lift
  • Ability to operate a computer and office equipment
  • Ability to communicate with PS, staff, and external representatives
  • CPR required within first two weeks of hire
  • First Aid required within two weeks of hire
  • MAP required within 150 days of hire
