Job summary

PrairieCare Medical Group is seeking a Practice Manager to collaborate with administrative leaders to plan and manage clinical services delivered by our psychiatrists, APRNs, and therapists in the Twin Cities area.

The role requires 2–4 years of leadership, strong contract negotiation and math skills, and proficient MS Office/Excel use. Compensation ranges from $85,000 to $95,000 annually, with in‑office duties and periodic travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of leadership experience required.
• Strong contract negotiating skills.
• Strong mathematical skill set.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clinicians, staff and the public.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist/partner in recruitment and retention of psychiatrists and other clinicians.
• Manage employee contracts and participate in negotiations, including salary formulas.
• Ensure clinicians are oriented and trained with necessary tools.
• Design and evaluate schedules and productivity models; assist data analysis.
• Support provider schedules, documentation, and billing patterns with site directors.
• Oversee monthly productivity reporting (charges, RVUs, CPT analyses).
• Contribute to the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
