Job summary

Grand Valley State University seeks a full‑time Health Compliance Office member to collaborate on student clinical placements, oversee onboarding documents, manage the Preceptor Perks Program and maintain the placement database. The role includes generating reports and supporting health compliance activities.

The position requires RN with a nursing or health-related degree and 3–5 years in clinical, health program administration, or higher education health settings, plus strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related health field required.
• 3–5 years progressively responsible positions in clinical/health program settings.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong English grammar.
• Experience with contract management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with health programs to identify and secure clinical placement sites.
• Assist academic programs in onboarding and placement processes.
• Maintain the placement database and ensure data accuracy.
• Create placement and preceptor reports each semester and on request.
• Manage the Preceptor Perks Program and coordinate enrollment and documents.
• Coordinate fit testing and staff Competencies.
• Assist with health compliance audits and related documentation.
• Support department communications and website maintenance.
