Grand Valley State University seeks a Clinical Initiatives Specialist - Health Compliance to support student clinical placements by identifying placement opportunities, onboarding documents, managing the preceptor program, and generating reports.

The role requires an RN with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field, 3–5 years in clinical or health admin settings, strong time management, teamwork, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Bachelor’s degree in nursing or other health-related degree.
• Three to five years progressively responsible positions in clinical, health care administration or higher education health program settings.

Responsabilités

• Interface with health professionals regarding clinical placements and academic programs.
• Identify and secure clinical placement sites for students.
• Manage database for clinical placement and preceptor information; ensure timely data collection and entry.
• Create placement and preceptor reports for administration each semester and as requested.
• Coordinate the Preceptor Perks Program including enrollment and collaboration with university departments.
• Coordinate fit testing for academic programs and manage staff competencies.
• Assist with health compliance audits and student communication.
• Assist with laboratory, immunization, and other health compliance document processing.
• Assist with affiliation agreement contract coordination and department communications.
