• Doctoral degree with residency/fellowship or licensure with continuing competence activities for direct access (Education)
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy in Texas or PT Compact Commission (Licenses)
• Current Basic Life Support certification (Licenses)
• At least two years of clinical experience or completion of an accredited residency (Experience)
• Ability to lift up to 75/100 pounds, tolerate prolonged standing and frequent movement (Physical demands)
• Strong communication skills with patients, caregivers and staff (Communication)
• Visual ability to monitor instruments and equipment (Vision)

Aufgaben

• Assess patients and develop/initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
• Provide direct patient care and document findings, progress and instructions.
• Assist Level III physical therapists and participate in program development.
• Serve as a resource to staff PTs and provide training to students/interns.
• Supervise patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
• Ensure safe care adhering to MH policies within budget and productivity standards.
