MedStar Health seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to join the MHPT team at Navy Yard. You will evaluate, treat, and re-evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and document progress with input from patients and families.

You will participate in program planning, contribute to protocol development, and mentor students while collaborating with a diverse clinical team to deliver high-quality care.

Formación

• Licensed physical therapist with competency as a general practitioner in physical therapy.
• Maryland, DC and/or VA licensure as required for the location.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide evaluation services, review history, perform assessments, and document results.
• Explain evaluation findings and treatment plan to patient and family; involve them in goal setting.
• Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation and patient presentation; adjust plan as needed.
• Discharge planning and follow-up care; timely documentation of care.
• Mentor students and assist with orientation and onboarding of staff and volunteers.
