Job summary

Hartgrove Behavioral Health System in Chicago seeks a Clinical PHP Manager to provide direct patient care under the Director of PHP/IOP Services. This role demands ensuring a safe milieu, crisis intervention, and coordination of patient transport, discharge planning, and recruitment.

The candidate will implement programs, train staff, and manage the department schedule, supporting inpatient, partial and outpatient services across age groups. LCPC/LCSW licensure is required with CADC preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, sociology or related health field.
• At least 3 years of inpatient psychiatric hospital experience.
• Licensed clinician: LCPC or LCSW; CADC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Perform crisis intervention when needed.

Education

**Job Requirements:**

Masters Degree in Psychology, Sociology or any Human Health related field

Experience

We are seeking at least 3 years of experience working within an inpatient psychiatric hospital with children, adolescents and adults. Prior experience with utilizing crisis intervention verbal and physical techniques. Experience conducting group therapy sessions, performing vital signs and documenting nursing progress notes. Experience Supervising a staff of at least 4 employees or more.

Licensure/Certification

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). CADC stronly preferred.
