You will provide direct patient care under the Director of PHP/IOP Services, ensuring a safe milieu and coordinating discharge planning and transportation. The role requires a Master’s in psychology or related field, 3+ years in inpatient psychiatry, and LCPC/LCSW licensure with CADC preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years in inpatient psychiatric hospital with children, adolescents and adults.
• Licensure/Certification: LCPC or LCSW; CADC strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Located in Garfield Park, the child/adolescent partial hospitalization program (PHP) is designed forschool-age children who may benefit from therapeutic behavioral health services but do not need 24-hour monitoring and adolescents ages 12 through 17 who struggle with a behavioral health disorder or mental health issues but are stable enough to live at home during treatment.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Clinical PHP Manager provides direct patient care under the Director of PHP/IOP Services. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, facilitation of group meetings, coordination of patient transportation, assistance with discharge planning, and department recruitment. The Program Manager is additionally responsible for the implantation of programs, training and the schedule.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Education: Master's Degree in Psychology, Sociology or any Human Health related field

Experience: 3+ years of experience working within an inpatient psychiatric hospital with children, adolescents and adults. Prior experience with utilizing crisis intervention verbal and physical techniques. Experience conducting group therapy sessions, performing vital signs and documenting nursing progress notes. Experience Supervising a staff of at least 4 employees or more.

Licensure/Certification: Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). CADC stronly preferred.
