Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect pathology specimens at ambulatory care centers and ensure proper registration, processing and allocation of orders.
• Verify patient/specimen identification and appropriateness of specimens and orders.
• Prioritize and organize laboratory workflow to ensure timely processing and transport of specimens.
• Maintain a clean, orderly workspace and proper PAR levels of supplies.
• Perform POCT, document routine maintenance and quality control procedures.
