Job summary

Dilkon Medical Center | Winslow Indian Health Care in Arizona seeks a PC Technician to plan, install, and maintain PC hardware, software, and basic networks in an Ambulatory Care setting. You will support end‑users, manage password resets, and ensure 24/7 IT service with weekend coverage.

Bilingual English/Navajo preferred; a valid driver’s license and background check are required. This role emphasizes confidentiality, patient care, and collaboration with clinical staff while adhering to WIHCC

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or Comp TIA A+ Certification and a minimum of one year of experience in Information Technology required.
• A minimum of two years of progressively responsible Information Technology and customer support in a health care environment is preferred.
• Bilingual skills in English and Navajo language preferred.
• Must maintain a valid unrestricted and insurable driver’s license.
• Background check and suitability for Child Care position required under ICPFVP Act.

Responsibilities

• Installs and supports personal computers, and basic network operations; provides hardware and software planning and evaluation.
• Provides problem solving and end-user training; ensures system efficiency and integrity.
• Maintains records using the Helpdesk Request System; documents solutions with tickets.
• Assist in password resets and user ID issues within Active Directory and EMR/EHR.
• Collaborate and train end-users on software; assist in equipment standards and configurations.
• Ensure 24/7 IT service availability, including weekend/holiday coverage; maintain confidentiality.
