The role emphasizes processing prescriptions, maintaining inventory, and supporting patient care with a focus on quality and compliance. Ideal candidates bring a High School Diploma or GED, at least 6 months of relevant experience, and basic Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by state).
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription refills for drugs, PN/high risk, heparin/saline.
• Process new drug prescriptions.
• Counts, pours, & mixes pharmaceuticals.
• Packages products into appropriate containers and labels containers.
• Provides training to Clinical Pharmacy Technician I’s.
• Develop purchase orders to address shortages.
• Validate removal of expired supplies/materials.
• Schedule deliveries.
