Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy support role to assist under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. The position focuses on maintaining smooth pharmacy operations, processing prescriptions, and supporting patient data and inventory management.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least 6 months of relevant experience, and basic to intermediate MS Office skills. Salary ranges are disclosed below with benefits and growth opportunities within a leading home infusion

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by state).
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ability to perform basic to intermediate math calculations.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint basics.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription refills for drugs, PN/high risk, heparin/saline.
• Process new drug prescriptions.
• Counts, pours, & mixes pharmaceuticals.
• Packages products into appropriate containers and labels containers.
• Provides training to Clinical Pharmacy Technician I's.
• Ensure accurate inventory levels and validate incoming supplies.
• Develop purchase orders to address shortages.
• Validate removal of expired supplies and schedule deliveries.
• Collect & maintain patient data for assessments.
• Respond to non-routine patient questions & requests.
• Clean & sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows; organize supplies.
