Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacist Assistant to support licensed pharmacists in daily operations, ensuring accurate prescription processing, proper packaging, and training of junior staff. You will help manage inventory, prepare sterile products, and maintain patient data for assessments.

The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to policies, and basic MS Office skills. A high school diploma or GED and minimal experience are required, with standard benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Able to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (e.g. ...).
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (e.g. ...).
• Basic skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g. ...).

Responsibilities

• Process prescription refills for drugs, PN/high risk, heparin/saline and new prescriptions.
• Counts, pours, & mixes pharmaceuticals and packages products with labels.
• Provides training to Clinical Pharmacy Technician I's.
• Ensures inventory levels through validation and reporting of received supplies.
• Develops purchase orders to address shortages and validates removal of expired supplies.
• Collects and maintains patient data for assessments and responds to routine questions.
