Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support smooth pharmacy operations under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist. You will assist with dispensing medications, processing refills, maintaining equipment, and verifying inventory.

Requires High School Diploma or GED and 0–6 months of experience. Training completion within 6 months where required, with strong customer service and basic MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ability to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic level skill in Microsoft Word for document tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process according to policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing, and reporting defects.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information for material and prescription planning.
• Answer basic patient questions to support a positive patient experience.
• Receive and verify quantities of incoming supplies and materials.
