Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Assistant to support smooth pharmacy operations under supervision of a licensed Pharmacist in New Orleans, LA.

You will assist with prescription processing, prepare medications and supplies, and help maintain equipment to ensure accuracy and safety. You will collect patient information, support a positive patient experience, and help manage inventory and supplies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 0 to 6 months of relevant experience.
• Licensed or registered within 6 months of hire where required by state; completion of designated training within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process per policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning and reporting defects.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information for planning materials and prescriptions.
• Support a positive patient experience by answering questions and requests.
• Receive and verify quantities of incoming supplies and materials.
• Stock and store new supplies, review expiration dates, and identify shortages.
• Pick and pack materials, create tickets, and track inventory in the system.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows; organize supplies.
