Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Associate to assist in ensuring smooth and accurate pharmacy operations under a licensed Pharmacist. You will help prepare and dispense medications, maintain equipment, and support inventory and patient delivery processes.

The role emphasizes precise data entry, adherence to policies, and delivering a positive patient experience while following state regulations and internal guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to perform basic and intermediate level mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Review/validate basic prescription drug refill requests and process according to policies.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection, and cleaning.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information for planning materials and prescriptions.
• Support a positive patient experience by answering basic questions.
• Receive and verify quantities of incoming supplies and store them.
• Review expiration dates and identify shortages.
• Schedule routine patient deliveries and track inventory in systems.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces and organize supplies.
