Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in New Orleans, LA under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist to ensure smooth and accurate pharmacy operations in accordance with company policies and state standards.

Responsibilities include processing refills, preparing prescriptions, packaging and labeling, training junior staff, maintaining inventory, and supporting patient care through accurate data handling and responsive service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by state).
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Proficient in basic math and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Process prescription refills and new drug prescriptions.
• Counts, pours, and mixes pharmaceuticals.
• Packages products and labels containers.
• Provides training to Clinical Pharmacy Technician I's.
• Maintains inventory and schedules deliveries.
